PhD candidates who have written or are in the process of writing the first draft of a manuscript.

Content

This workshop focuses on the different aspects of successfully publishing a peer-reviewed article. It teaches you how to manage the submission and review process and how to review papers written by others.

The session will help you to

• structure your article in a way that peer-reviewers and editors find acceptable
• understand the process of having an article reviewed
• constructively deal with comments and criticism when you get your manuscript back
• learn the general do´s and don´ts of academic publishing
