PhD candidates who have written a first manuscript draft already or are in the process of doing so.
Content:
This workshop focusses on the different aspects of getting a paper successfully published. It teaches you how to manage the submission and review process of your own scientific articles and how to review papers of others.
The session will help you:
- structure your article in a way that peer-reviewers and editors find acceptable
- understand the process of having an article reviewed
- how to deal with comments and criticism when you get your manuscript back
- getting information on the general do´s and don´ts in academic reviewing
