Who should come? 

This workshop is open to all PhD candidates in the ESGC

Content:

What is networking? Why is it important? What’s the best way to do it? This introductory workshop introduces you to the basics of networking in the academic and post-academic contexts. This workshop is particularly useful for those who resist the idea of networking.

The session will help you:

• Understand what networking is and what it is not
• Apply tools and strategies that will, in turn, help you become more effective at networking

Teaching methods:

• Presentation
• Facilitated discussion
• Individual and group exercises
