Content
Starting a PhD involves a significant investment of time and energy. This workshop is designed to help you get the most out of your investment. Through guided discussions, reflections and exercises you will articulate your vision and goals for the coming years and gain concrete self-management tools. The Graduate School will also provide you with valuable information on resources that are available to you at the University. This workshop is also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow students, the Convent, and advanced PhD students in our Faculty.
At the end of the workshop we will advise you on administratiave steps you need to take at the start of your Ph.D. studies. If you have already completed these steps, and do not require this information, you can leave after the first part.
In this workshop you will learn how to

- establish a productive and positive relationship with your supervisor
- make use of the resources available to you at the University
