Format

day 1 and 2 :

09:00-16:00;  (16:00-18:00 optional writing time)

day 3:

09:00-13:00; (14:00-18:00 optional writing time)

What is the Thesis Studio?

Thesis Studio is an intensive writing retreat that helps you make significant progress on your writing projects. It takes you out of your regular, busy routine and provides you will a dedicated and supportive environment in which you can focus on getting a lot of writing done in a relatively short amount of time. You can work on your thesis, a paper manuscript, or any other piece of academic writing during the workshop.

Each day consists of short inputs, group meetings and most important, hours of structured, distraction-free writing. 

You will leave the workshop with a significant amount of writing done, the tools you need to become a more productive and self-assured writer, and a community of peers who can support you.

You will learn how to

• get a lot of writing done in a short amount of time
• better understand your unique writing process, leverage your strengths and recognize and work on your weaknesses 
• master strategies for productive writing that will benefit you long after the workshop
• reduce the stress, waste, and anxiety that often accompanies academic writing 

How is Thesis Studio different than Golden Days?

The power of Thesis Studio lies in the combination of 4 factors:

1. Structured time dedicated to writing (you’ve cleared your schedule)

2. On-demand writing help from an academic coach

3. Short inputs on relevant themes such as time management, work-life balance, etc

4. A peer group that will support you and keep you on track.
