WHO?

This workshop series is for researchers of our faculty (including staff and doctoral students) who want to cultivate more focus, balance, and productivity. We will focus specifically on time management tools for individuals whose job it is to produce new content (writing, lectures, presentations). This is not a general time management course.

You will get:

- Concrete tips and tricks for how to improve your workflow

- Time to reflect on your needs and find strategies that work for you

- Resources and worksheets that you can use well past the end of the workshop

- A community that will help you stay on track

 

HOW?

Each session has a maximum duration of 40 min and will be structured as follows:

1)         The facilitator will give a short input on a selected topic (15 min)

2)         Participants reflect on input a small group (breakout room) (15 min)

3)         Q & A with facilitator (10 min)

You will be in a discussion group with your peers (that is, we will have separate discussion groups for doctoral students & scientific staff).

 

WHEN?

On Tuesdays, for 12 consecutive weeks, from 12:00-12:40 (during your lunch break)

First session: Tuesday April 13th; Last session: July 13th.  

NOTE: We will not meeting during the school holidays. NO MEETINGS on May 25th and June 1st.

You can sign up for the sessions that interest you or commit to all 12 weeks. You are welcome to just listen to the short inputs or stay for the discussion and Q & A. (A list of the topics and dates will be presented during the first session and subsequently published on the ESGC website).
